Intrusion Inc. SecureNet Provider is the preeminent three-tier NIDS monitoring and reporting system for enterprises and managed service providers. Coupled with the SecureNet Series of integrated, plug-and-protect intrusion detection security appliances, SecureNet Provider enables the centralized monitoring and reporting for all SecureNet Pro IDS sensors to make intrusion detection information more valuable - and accessible.
SecureNet Provider is a highly scalable Windows-based NIDS layer that extends the capabilities of SecureNet Pro with highly customizable, centralized monitoring and reporting functions. SecureNet Provider is an add-on to SecureNet Pro sensor and console deployments where there is a demand for added monitoring and reporting benefits to extract the maximum comparative value from all intrusion detection sensors on the network.
SecureNet Provider makes it possible for any type of SecureNet Pro sensor to be monitored from a single location. Its three-tier architecture features a client and a manager with database structure. In operation, all SecureNet Pro sensors (including all SecureNet PDSes, SecureNet Gig and SecureNet Pro software) report to the Provider Manager, which stores all data in a Microsoft SQL 2000 database. The Manager is highly scalable, and able to take advantage of single-, dual- and quad-processor systems to provide hierarchical scalability for large sensor deployments.
